Teddy Bear

I finished assembling the little bear today. I think he's pretty cute. It calls for black to embroider the face, but I think it won't show up on such a dark brown. Any ideas? I'm thinking tan/beige. I think I'll make the sweater and the Wellingtons too. Hee hee. Little British Bear. The pattern came from Debbie Bliss' Toy Knits. I used some Jaeger Matchmaker Merino DK from my stash instead of the Rowan it called for.

well, you could always do colored eyes, red mouth, that sort of thing. Or just go for a lighter brown (not so light as tan).

What an adorable bear! Like Michaele said, maybe you can just use a lighter brown for the face?

Awwwwww. Love the bear. I'm sure that you will pick the perfect colors to do the face.
